Searching for the answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything, it's the all new Geek at Arms! It's another Super-Sized episode with James kicking off Geek Out with what's been on his reading list, how much he's enjoyed diving back into the world of Mass Effect with Mass Effect Legacy Edition, and how happy he is to be attending SCA functions again. Bryan shares how much slice of life anime romances like Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai have been a source of entertainment. He also talks about how the YouTube channel Cinema Therapy gave him new psychological insight into various movies. Mike reminds us that with our 42nd episode comes a perfect opportunity to give the audio drama of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams a try. Mike then leads us into a round of what geeky things we're looking forward to with To The Future, and James springs a MCU themed Pop Quiz on the guys. Finally, kicking off the second Animated Film Club, they take a look at the 2010 Dreamworks classic How to Train Your Dragon.

In this new episode of Geek at Arms we welcome Brannon Hollingsworth, the COO/Creative Director of the christian animation studio Brainy Pixel Productions! As always we give Brannon first crack at Geek Out, and he shares how he dove deep into World War I research and the Battle of The Somme for his Tenet's Tale comic. Next Bryan gives us the specs on his much needed, and long awaited, brand new PC! Mike then talks about watching Adventure Time with his kids and James gives a review Godzilla vs Kong. The guys then talk with Brannon about Brainy Pixel's origins, some of the animation they've created, and what the future has in store for them.

James reunites with Bryan and Mike for another new episode of Geek at Arms! In Geek Out James talks about braving the movie theaters with his daughter to see Raya and the Last Dragon and gives his thoughts on the Snyder Cut of Justice League. Next Bryan shares some news about new technology for VR headsets called Light Field and discusses WandaVision with the others. Mike talks about finally getting to play the game Emberwind: The Skies of Axia and how much he's enjoyed reading His Majesty's Dragon by Naomi Novik. Finally, in the last movie of the Historic Fiction Film Club the guys take a look at the 1958 period adventure film The Hidden Fortress from legendary director Akira Kurosawa.

Next, James gives a review of Marvel's Avengers on Xbox and how much he enjoyed replacing a broken Game Boy Advance SP shell. Mike then shares how much he's enjoyed the book On Time: A History of Western Timekeeping by Dr. Ken Mondschein and proofreading a module for the Frontier Space RPG system. Expanding our consciousness one episode at a time, it's an all new Geek at Arms! In yet another Super-Sized episode we welcome Jenny from Saving the Game and Ashley from the Min/Max Podcast (aka The Librarian and the Other Guest). In Geek Out Ashley starts us off with her love of the recent book Lanny from Max Porter. Jenny continues the almost constant book recommendations with And the Trees Crept In by Dawn Kurtagich, I'm Thinking of Ending Things by Iain Reid, and shares how much she's enjoyed taking part in reading challenges. Bryan describes digging into the virtual tabletop Foundry to make it work for various rpgs. Mike walks us through his latest epic adventure in the game Time Stories. Finally James talks about how much he enjoyed the final episodes of The Mandalorian and getting trounced by his wife in The Castles of Mad King Ludwig. In the shows main topic they discuss the topic of Transhumanism. They address what it means, it's moral, ethical, and spiritual implications, and examples found in media.

Merry Christmas from Geek at Arms! James begins Geek Out by sharing how much he's enjoyed the recent seasons of Star Trek: Discovery, The Mandalorian, and the Netflix series Space Force. Bryan talk about rewatching the anime Sword Art Online and jumping back into the science fiction MMO Eve Online. Next Mike confesses to a spot of "geeky vandalism" and walks us through the new game he created to teach his kids the ins and outs of computers, "Does it Boot?" He and James then recount how much they enjoyed being guests of the awesome people at the 1 Geek 4:11 Podcast! Finally, we kick off a whole new Film Club series focusing on Historical Fiction. The first movie we review is the 1968 period drama and Christmas flick The Lion in Winter starring Peter O'Toole and Katherine Hepburn!

In Geek out, Eric shares how designing a multitude of miniatures of Hero Forge has been very therapeutic and how much he's loving the series Cobra Kai. Next, James and Bryan give an emotional review of the latest novel in the Dresden Files series, Battle Grounds. James then shares how much he's enjoying The Witcher 3 on Xbox. After receiving many recommendations Mike gives us his take on the anime Re:Zero, and closing out the segment Bryan describes publishing a special 1st Edition D&D module written by Mike Garcia for The Christian Gamers Guild. Finally, Eric recounts his experience working on the Star Wars D6 system for West End Games, giving us a brief glimpse into the RPG industry.
